Breathe and Connect Workshop 27th March 2022

Breathe and Connect Workshop with Sammy-Jo, begins with an Asana Practice to Open and Connect Breath, Body and Mind.Then moving into a seated Breath and Prayama Practice and finishing with savasana. 


The asana practice which supports the body to open and make space to allow you to breathe effectively to support you to connect internally with the body and mind and finishing in savasana. We will then move into the breath practice, which will consist of simple breath, kriyas and pranayama.


You will feel the body and mind slow down moving from the sympathetic nervous system to the parasympathetic nervous system. You will be able to take away these techniques which can be used in your daily practice to support you to maintain equilibrium of mind and body on a day to day basis.


10:00 -11:00am Asana Practice focusing on breath and connection to pelvis.

11:00 - 12noon  Kriyas, Breathwork, Prayama Practice and finishing with savasana.

Asana Fundamentals Workshop 24th April 2022

Asana Fundamentals Workshop with Sammy-Jo, utilises the Ashtanga Primary Series with some additional asana to support and help open the body and focus the mind. 


The practice will support students to break down the postures to understand how to connect both physically and mentally which will support you to self adjust through the ability to feel the internal connection so that you can replicate this in your day to day practice. Individual physical adjustments will also be offered throughout the practice. 


10:00 -12noon  Ashtanga Primary Practice - Surya Namaskar A & B, Standing Sequence, a selection from Seated Practice and Finishing Sequence. Finishing in savasana.

Sammy-Jo has spent 12 years exploring asana, breath connection and the latter 6 years developing a deeper understanding of yoga philosophy, a regular pranayama practice and more recently including ayurvedic principles and practices around diet and selfcare into her daily life, with a view to supporting a yoga way practice for life.
