We hope to give you a day to re-member get back to your self , get to know yourself better and give your self the gift of time and space
Detailed guidance of how to give space to the breath and body with dedicated sessions on how to first open the breath and then apply this to your asana practice , guiding you through a few of the key standing postures so that you begin to 'experience ' the subtle sensations that arise.
Moving then into your own mysore self-practice tuning inwards guided by the breath.
After lunch the afternoon will be dedicated to yoga nidra and a more meditative experience , time to observe the breath even deeper .To observe without judgement , without labelling these sensations so they can just be given space to 'be' .
How can practice translate into our every day life off the mat , how can practice affect changes in a positive way by simply 'listening' to the way in which the intelligence of out body feeds back , do we need to be stronger ? Do we need to be more open to change , or what is it we need to let go off or move on from ?

Donna and Vicki have each spent 20 years exploring asana and how the breath opens the body from inside out they both believe an Ashtanga practice can be soft and sustainable, not driven by our ego needs, making it a practice for life.
Over the years of daily practice Donna Southwell has transformed from a girl in her twenties to a woman and mother in her forties her teaching simultaneously reflects both the traditional Mysore style lineage (a level 2 authorisation from KPJAYI), and a belief that postural practice must be adapted to meet the needs of the individual and their life circumstance.
